Bert Menco (1946, Arnhem, The Netherlands) came to the US from The Netherlands and worked for many years as a Research Professor at Northwestern University’s Department of Neurobiology (Evanston, IL). Next to his career in science, he has always been active in the arts, with as common link that the often-tedious discipline needed in research is also being used in his art; obtaining the final image is for him like a research goal.
