Balbina Mendes was born in 1955 in Malhadas, Miranda do Douro, in the heart of Northern Portugal, lives and works in Vila Nova de Gaia – Oporto , in the heart of Northern Portugal, lives and works in Vila Nova de Gaia – Oporto Dedicated exclusively to painting, having held dozens of solo exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Austria, USA, Australia and India. She also participated in numerous group exhibitions and is represented in many public and private collections in Portugal and abroad.
