April Katz makes prints that synthesize digital and traditional printmaking processes. Her current work combines geometry and nature with Muslim, Christian and Jewish iconography with a goal to convey the universal attempt to make sense of the world and to celebrate the contributions made by diverse cultures. Her prints have been exhibited extensively, most recently in the Yinchuan Art Museum in China and the Dubuque Museum of Art in the US. The work is in numerous collections including Harvard and Yale University Museums and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
