Registrations are now open to Non-Toxic Printmaking Workshop in Alijó during the next Biennial of Douro 2018. This is an excellent opportunity not only to learn new etching techniques and procedures, learning with artists from all over the world, but also to visit the Biennial exhibitions around the region. Douro is the first wine region in the world with two classifications from UNESCO as a World Heritage for its landscape and for the rock carvings of Côa Valley - the world's largest engraving sanctuary. The Workshop will take place between 13 and 16 August 2018, but the artists may arrive the day 9 and attend the opening of the Biennial on 10 August. The tours to several exhibitions of the Biennial are included on 11 and 12 August. The check out date will be in the 17th.
