Annika Romeyn lives and works in Canberra, Australia on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country. Inspired by the natural environment of the broader region, Annika works across watercolour, drawing and printmaking. Her lithographs Moonlit Canyon and Inner Gorge were inspired by a powerful and formative rafting trip on the Colorado River (USA), each day framed by the ancient walls of the Grand Canyon. A decade later, Annika is still focused on the threshold of rock and water as she seeks to convey the humbling and restorative experience of walking in nature. Annika was recent Winner of the 2021 Burnie Print Prize, the 2020 Fisher’s Continuar a ler...erience of walking in nature.
