Deborah Klein was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. She lived and worked in London from 1973 – 1980 and is currently based in the Victorian Goldfields city of Ballarat. The artist has held regular solo exhibitions and participated in curated exhibitions in Australia and internationally. Her work has received numerous awards is represented in public and university museum collections throughout Australia.
