Chen Chuan, born in 1943 and graduated from Hubei Arts College in 1965. Acted as deputy director of Shandong Art Museum from 1984-1991. First-Class Artist, and member of China Artists Association. Final jury member of the Expert Committee of China National Arts Fund in 2016，and commissioner of the Global Print and International Printmaking Biennial of Douro in Portugal 2017-2020. Held solo painting exhibitions at Shandong Art Museum, Hubei Art Museum and Ningbo Art Museum in China,a tour Wood prints exhibition exhibition at 8 art galleries in Australia, and a 2-person Joint Print Exhibition at Brive Museum in France.
