Mgr. art. Martin Sevcovic, ArtD. was born on June 6th, 1983 in Piestany, Slovakia. In present time is working like Vice-Dean for Art Activities and the Head of the Department of Fine Art Education on the Faculty of Education on Comenius University in Bratislava. Doctoral study finished in 2014 at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Department of Sculpture, Object, Installation by doc. Rastislav Trizma, akad. He studied at same Academy in Departments of Printmaking and Other Media by prof. Robert Jancovic, akad. mal. A fellowship completed at Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland. Since 2014 is member of Continuar a ler...vic, akad. mal. A fellowship completed at Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan, Poland. Since 2014 is member of EURODOC - The European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers. Since 2012 is president of The Young Art Show Association. Since 2006 actively organizes group international exhibitions of young artists. He is a member of Printmaking Association of Slovakia. His works have been exposed on various solo and group exhibitions.
