I create sculptures, artist books, textiles and prints. My printmaking works are mostly about personal experiences. I use less toxic water based monotype pigment paints. The ‘Tax Time 5 & 6’ monotypes are from a series about feeling anxious due to having to submit a quarterly statement and an Annual Tax Return. I do not feel confident of my skills to report my earnings, or lack of them. I felt like I was drowning in numbers. These works express my feeling of being underwater and incapable of fulfilling the required task. ‘I’ll Save You’ is from the ‘No One Asked Me’ series of monotypes created from a lis Continuar a ler...red task. ‘I’ll Save You’ is from the ‘No One Asked Me’ series of monotypes created from a list of quotes by a family member. The spaces between the images are important to me.
