As a recipient of two prestigious Fulbright Scholarships Janette spent a year teaching and painting in Denmark and showing in European one-person exhibits. She has been shown in over 250 shows and collected in over 60 public museums and many other private galleries worldwide, principally in Germany, France, Spain, Bulgaria, Denmark, Mexico and the US. She has prints juried into: Linolschnitt Heute VII, International German Linoleum cut Exhibit and permanent collection in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany; “Paper Politics” Traveling Exhibit, Exposition D’Art, Montreal, Canada; the Southern Graphics Council Internati Continuar a ler...litics” Traveling Exhibit, Exposition D’Art, Montreal, Canada; the Southern Graphics Council International Traveling Exhibit and permanent collection and the Museum of Humor and Satire in Gabrovo, Bulgaria, among many others. Recently, she had a solo art show in Spain, a short film in the 13th Edition (2021) of the Venice (Italy) International Art Fair and was selected to be a part of the prestigious Simposio Internacional de Artistas XIX in Noja Spain. Janette has a MFA from the University of Oregon.
