Philipp Pamminger was born in 1981 in Linz/Austria. After his degree at the technical School for Graphic Design and his diploma at the Art University Linz, he works full-time as an illustrator. In his artistic work he has focused on the printing technique of woodcuts and linocuts, because for him the reduction to black and white areas offers the best challenge in his graphic work. He mainly works on natural topics such as animals and plants. But he is also very interested in indigenous symbols and themes.
