Črtomir Frelih was born on 20th of August 1960, Nomenj, Bohinj. Slovenia, Yugoslavia. 1985 Graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts (UL ALU) at the University of Ljubljana, 1990 completedgraduate studies on department for printmaking ALU Ljubljana, He is Full Professor for printmaking at the Department of Art Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana. He has received numerous prizes and awards at home and abroad, most recently in 2010 in recognition of the 8th International Print Triennial, Chamalières, France, and the Award for the highest quality at the 8th International Biennial of drawings,Plze Continuar a ler...malières, France, and the Award for the highest quality at the 8th International Biennial of drawings,Plzen, Czech Republic (2012), award of the 18th international print biennial, Varna (2015), Osten award, Biennial of drawing, Skopje (2016), Slovenian Association of Fine Art Societies: Lifetime achievement award (2019), Main prize at International Biennial of Drawing, Pristina, Kosovo (2020) .
