Marie has a Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University, majoring in art. Her career was as a primary school teacher specialising in art and professional development of staff in the field of art. Her personal love of art started as a landscape painter and after discovering the beauty of lino prints, such as those of Margaret Preston and the Claud Flight Group, she changed to print making and never looked back. Marie has been exhibiting her reduction lino prints for 25 years. Each print takes at least a month to complete. She finds the good thing about printmaking is that she can always keep one for herself.
